The park at night:

My mother gave us this trip as a christmas preseant, and she wanted us to stay in a really nice hotel. We booked two nights at this beautyful old hacienda, witch is an old mansion. We where so impressed when we came in the hotel! But the happiness was short... The hotel made a mistake ,and it turned out tht they only had one room insted of three! typical... We had to wait for ever for them to fix this, and Viktor was tired from the busride and was screaming. To make a long story short, we ended up in crappy hotel just 50 meters from the nice one! this hotel was probebly classy in 1970.. We would normally don,t mind but when we first saw what we missed we where a bit dissapoined.. Thomas made the nice hotel treat us with a dinner. we where quite gready that night! had a lot of good wine, beer, dessert etc. The next day the good hotel had three rooms for us again, and we where quite happy with that. My mom tried to get us free dinner again, but the hotel manager thougt we very a bit gready the first day! hehe.. Typical Mexico.. No service.. But anyway; We had a great trip and the second night was much better than the first. The second day we went to Chichen Itza, witch is an old mayan ruin city. we took the bus there from Valladolid. It's nice travelling by bus in Mexico because we get to see a lot of interessting places on the way, like how people live, fruit trees like orangetrees, avocado trees and bananatrees witch is quite exotic to us norwegians. When we arrived at chichen itza it was very crowded! We had to wait for a long time to get to the front to buy our tickets. But finally we got in! It was impressive as all the mayan ruins are. Not as great as Tikal in Guatemala but still very nice. I,ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
